Translation services in Namibia

Namibia-based Anglo Premier Translations is a translation and editing service run by Timothy Barton. I translate from French, Spanish, Catalan and Portuguese to English, which is my mother tongue. Through my partner translators, I may also be able to provide translations from and into Afrikaans, Oshiwambo (Oshikwanyama and Oshindongo), Otjiherero, Setswana, Silozi, Khoekhoegowab (Nama/Damara) and German.

I am a certified translator, also known as a sworn translator, registered with the High Court of Namibia for Spanish-English. Working with colleagues, I also supply certified translations from other languages, including German, Afrikaans, Arabic and Portuguese.

Editing and proofreading

I also offer editing and proofreading services. Most English in Namibia is written by people who speak a different mother tongue. Since English is my native language, my editing and proofreading services provide your business with the excellent quality English you need to project a professional image to your clients.

Interpreting

My interpreting services can help you negotiate with foreign clients and investors. For instance, I can travel to Luderitz to assist negotiations with one of the Spanish fishing companies.

I also work with colleagues and partners to provide a full conference interpreting service to organisations in Namibia. I can provide two French, Spanish or Portuguese interpreters for meetings in Windhoek or elsewhere in Namibia, as well as the booths and all the equipment you will need to provide an interpreting services to your delegates. I have already provided this services for meetings organised by the Elimination 8 Secretariat, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Macroeconomic and Financial Management Institute of Eastern and Southern Africa (MEFMI).

Clients

I provide services to a range of clients, including businesses, charities (at special rates for those whose objectives I support), organisations, sports clubs and higher-education institutions. I accept payments in South African rand, Namibian dollars, US dollars and European currencies.

Tours
