English book translations
Translating books poses some unique challenges. I offer much more than just the translation of the main text.
I can directly translate desktop publishing (DTP) files, retaining the original format (InDesign, Quark, etc.). I use specialist software to ensure that none of the formatting is accidentally changed. This allows me to deliver a ready-to-print translation with the same format and layout as the original file, which saves you time and money.

Third-party revision
Published texts should always be checked and edited by somebody other than the author before going to print. Likewise, a translation should be checked by somebody other than the translator.
For this reason, I also include a third-party revision by one of my partner editors. I then check through all the changes made by the editor before delivering the finished product to my client, thus ensuring the highest quality.
What I value most about Timothy is the quality of his translations. All the books he has translated are of the highest quality technically and linguistically. I can be confident in assigning him any project because I know that he will carry out the necessary research and revise the text again and again until it has the necessary quality.
